This Privacy Policy explains how Turbomix (“TURBOMİX”), as the operator of www.turbomixmachinery.com (the “Website”), collects, processes, stores, shares, deletes, destroys, and anonymizes personal data in compliance with:

  • the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) in Turkey, and
  • the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) for users located in the European Union/European Economic Area.

It also informs visitors, members, and customers (collectively referred to as “users”) of their rights regarding their personal data.

1) Collection of Personal Data

TURBOMİX may collect personal data directly from you or automatically through your use of the Website, mobile applications, social media accounts, cookies, or other technologies, in line with KVKK and GDPR principles.

a) Members and Customers

  • Identity Information: name, surname, date of birth, gender, membership ID.
  • Contact Information: e-mail address, mobile number.
  • Location Information: city, district.
  • Risk Management: Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • Marketing Data: cookies, targeting data, visited products, marketing emails and SMS (based on explicit consent).
  • Request/Complaint Management: records relating to products or services purchased, including complaints and support requests submitted via Website or call center.

b) Non-Member Visitors

  • Risk Management: IP address.
  • Marketing Data: cookies, targeting data, visited products.

c) Customers Who Purchase Products

  • Identity Information: National number (if applicable), name, surname, date of birth, gender.
  • Contact Information: mobile number, landline, e-mail address, postal code.
  • Location Information: city, district.
  • Financial Data: tax office, tax number, billing details.

All data is processed under lawful bases defined by KVKK Articles 5 and 6 and GDPR Article 6, including contract performance, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, and explicit consent (where required).

2) Purpose of Processing and Storage Locations

Personal data may be processed for:

  • compliance with legal and regulatory obligations,

Your data may be stored in Turkey or in other countries where TURBOMİX or its service providers operate, subject to adequate safeguards under GDPR (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

3) Retention Period

  • Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

Under GDPR (Articles 12–23), users in the EU/EEA additionally have the right to:

8) Deletion, Destruction, and Anonymization

Once retention obligations expire, TURBOMİX will securely delete, destroy, or anonymize personal data in line with KVKK and GDPR requirements.

9) Changes to the Privacy Policy

TURBOMİX reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be effective from the date they are published on the Website.
